VTech MobiGo w/Game Storage Cartridge GIVEAWAY ($100 Value)

My 3 year old and I recently had the opportunity to review the VTech MobiGo. For starters, let me say that my daughter is totally into all things tech- she knows how to work our iPad, phones, and any other touch screen she can get her hands on. Since the MobiGo has a touch screen, I figured she would like it. It also has a full QWERTY keyboard, and to my surprise, she actually enjoys the keyboard just as much as the touch screen. You can also connect your MobiGo to your computer and track your child’s progress. We haven’t used that part yet, but we did use the 3 free game downloads you receive with your purchase. You can connect to download games from your computer too. The three games we chose have easily kept my daughter entertained.
Here’s a few other things I love about the MobiGo:

It has volume control. I don’t mean the “loudest, loud, and off” kind. This volume control has 10 notches of volume. That’s my kind of toy.

Game versatility. The MobiGo is designed for ages 3 – 7. You can buy game cartridges with specific games in mind, but you also have the option of easy, medium, or hard.

Durability. We have taken the MobiGo to the grocery store and in the car. It’s a great on-the-go device as well as a toy at home. My daughter use to play games on my phone, but I was always worried she would throw it during a tantrum, and a $500 phone is something I’d rather not replace. The MobiGo has rubber sides to prevent damage if when dropped.

I’d say the only thing we have an issue with is that sometimes my daughter can’t slide the screen up herself. Keep in mind she’s 3 years old. She just brings it to me and says, “Mommy, ABCs please!” so that I’ll slide the screen up and the keyboard will show.

One thing I learned about saving time and money is that planning and organization are KEY. Of course, it took my many failed attempts before I had that epiphany. I’m also a person who is more than happy to go for the “easy route”. E-Mealz allows you to plan out your meals AND make it as easy as possible to do so. The new weekly menu plans are designed around grocery store sales, seasonal specials, and diet preferences. So if you have a gluten-free family member like we do, E-Mealz has it all sorted out for you!

E-Mealz is easy to navigate. All you do is log in and download a recipe plan for the week, which includes a matching aisle-by-aisle grocery list. Most of the recipes have fewer than 7 ingredients, which is great for saving money. I’ve used other menu planning sites before, and I must say that the matching aisle-by-aisle grocery list with prices totally blows me away. You can easily pair up your coupons and be set for your trip.

It’s only $1.25 per week ($5/month) and believe me when I say it’s well worth the money. Even Dave Ramsey himself recommends E-Mealz.

· Each $1 spent on groceries = 1 point
